A confrontation with the self.
“Your Body Wandered Close” is an encounter with the unknown that is familiar. Like a word on the tip of your tongue that you can’t remember. The scent someone leaves behind. It is the dance with the residue left behind by an ambiguous interaction. How we open the door to shifting weather and what we are hungry for changing. It is the relationship we have to contact, consumption and expectation.
This performance was created under the influence of training with Ko Murobushi reading Leonard Cohen Poems, and listening to Odetta.
