Erin employs contemporary forms, somatic training, QiGong, Butoh and action-theater as well as experience as a competitive gymnast, a gogo dancer in clubs, and working on a vegetable farm to create performances. She has collaborated with artists and musicians such as Cristina Lei Rodriguez, Christian Holstad, George Pitts, Aaron Taylor Kuffner, Qasim Naqvi, Jaleel Bunton and with Mariam Ghani, on the Performed Places series. She was an Artist in Residence at Movement Research and LMCC in NYC, Camargo Foundation in France, Banff Center in Canada, and Frida Hasen Haus in Norway. Her work has been featured at numerous exhibitions and alternative spaces, such as Kunsthaus Tacheles, Nacht&Nebel Festival in Germany; Hollybush Gardens and Serpentine Slacker Gallery in the UK; Rogalad Kunstenter, in Norway; Sharjah Biennial9 in the UAE; the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Anchorage Museum of Art, Bass Museum’s Temporary/Contemporary, Danspace’s Food For Thought, Performance Mix Festival, and the Queens Museum in the US.
